James Powell

James Powell is a seasoned developer with a diverse background in engineering and software development. Currently serving as a Senior Developer at Raistone since June 2020, James previously held the position of Software Engineer at GE Digital from December 2016 to June 2020. Earlier experience includes working as a Functional Test Automation Engineer at Analytic Strategies and a Mechanical Engineer with Jacobs Engineering Group, where notable projects involved supporting Royal Dutch Shell. James began a career in engineering with roles as a Jr. Reliability Engineer at Oceaneering International Inc. and internships at Lockheed Martin and Future Pipe Industries. James holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University and completed a Back-end Java Engineering course at The Iron Yard in 2016.
