Jim Cates

Jim is an author, a founder, a deep thinker, and a trend mentor. He has spent his career in Silicon Valley immersed in revolutionary tech, focusing specifically on AI and cybersecurity. For 25 years, Jim has been at the forefront of the technology sector and is a pioneering member of IBM Labs. Jim was CIO of SGI, Brocade, Altera and Synopsis, and the founder of numerous CIO groups including the Consortium of Information System Executives (CISE).
