Renata Werneck

Renata Werneck serves as the Gerente Jurídica e Compliance at Raiz Educação since August 2024, overseeing the Legal, Compliance, and ESG departments and acting as the Company’s DPO. Previously, Renata held similar roles at Sondotécnica Engenharia, where responsibilities included leading the Legal, Compliance, and ESG departments, and at Casa & Video, where Renata managed the Legal Department. Other significant positions include Gerente Jurídica at BHG - Brazil Hospitality Group, where leadership of a large team and management of various legal aspects of the company were critical, and a Senior Lawyer role at Souza, Cescon, Barrieu & Flesch Advogados, focusing on capital market operations and M&A. Renata began their career as a Junior Lawyer at Gafisa and Banco Brascan S.A., where foundational experience in corporate law was developed. Renata holds advanced degrees in international trade and corporate law and has achieved notable accomplishments throughout the career, including securing significant funding and enhancing compliance frameworks.
