Max V.

Max V. has a diverse range of work experience. Max started their career in the United States Marine Corps, where they served as an Infantry Officer, responsible for training and logistical support of a 200-person organization. Max then transitioned to a role as a General Manager at The Home Depot, overseeing the sales and performance of a store. After that, they joined TDECU as the VP of Retail Delivery, focusing on excellent service delivery through various customer channels. Max V. then moved to San Antonio Federal Credit Union as the General Manager of the U.S. Central Division. Max later became the President & Chief Executive Officer at Alamo Federal Credit Union and, most recently, Chief Executive Officer at Raiz Federal Credit Union, where they are responsible for its strategic direction and performance.

Max V. has a diverse educational background with a focus on leadership and banking. Max began their education at Texas A&M University, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing from 1994 to 1998.

After a few years, Max pursued further education at the Naveen Jindal School of Management at UT Dallas. Max obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Global Leadership between 2004 and 2006. During this period, they also attended the CEO Institute and became a Certified Chief Executive in Leadership in 2008.

In 2011, Max attended the Graduate School of Retail Bank Management at Furman University, where they earned a Professional Certification in Banking from 2011 to 2013.

In addition to these formal educational experiences, Max has also obtained several certifications. These include "Credit Union Development Educator" from The National Credit Union Foundation in November 2020 and "Communicating with Emotional Intelligence" from LinkedIn in December 2021. Max also obtained the certification of "Certified Chief Executive" from CUES in 2008, which overlaps with their attendance at the CEO Institute.
