André Campolina has extensive experience in data science, research, and development. André worked as a Lead Data Scientist and Data Science Specialist at Raízen, a Data Scientist at Radix Engenharia e Software, and as a Researcher at the University of Ottawa and Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. Their research focused on strategies to reduce fuel consumption in car trips, privacy leakage through car sensor data, and efficiency analysis of different routes. Campolina also developed frameworks for virtual sensors and applied machine learning techniques to complex event processing in the automotive industry.
André Campolina completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at PUC Minas from 2012 to 2015. André then pursued their Master's degree in Ciência da Computação at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais from 2016 to 2017. Currently, they are a PhD candidate in Computer Science at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and also pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science at the University of Ottawa from 2018 to 2022.
