Leonardo L Ferreira

Leonardo L Ferreira has a diverse work experience in the finance and oil industry, starting as a Trader at Banco BVA S/A in 2002. Leonardo then moved to UBS Pactual as an Operations Supervisor in 2006 before joining Petrobras as a Trader in 2007. At Petrobras, they later became the Head of Commodities Derivatives Desk until 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at BR Distribuidora as the Oil Products Supply and Trading Manager. Leonardo then joined Tricon International, Ltd. as a Proprietary Trader in 2017 before moving to Raízen, where they held various roles including Head Trader of Oil Products, Shipping Managing Director, and currently the Shipping and Biofuels Managing Director since 2019.

Leonardo L Ferreira completed a Bachelor of Science in Economics at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro from 1999 to 2003. Leonardo then pursued a Master's degree in Finance at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2004 to 2007. In 2013, they obtained a certification in ERP - Energy Risk Professional from GARP - Global Association of Risk Professionals.
