Dr. Pankaj Misra

Dr. Pankaj Misra is an Associate Professor in Physical Sciences at Homi Bhabha National Institute since September 2010, bringing extensive experience as an Assistant Professor and Lecturer in the field. Since February 1998, Dr. Misra has served as a Scientific Officer at the Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology, focusing on the growth of oxide semiconductors and multifunctional metal oxides using advanced deposition techniques for applications in deep UV photonics and energy storage. Additionally, from July 2012 to July 2014, Dr. Misra held the position of Research Associate Professor in Physics at the University of Puerto Rico, where work included the development of ultrathin films and new non-volatile memory technologies. Dr. Misra holds a Master's degree in Materials Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, a PhD in Semiconductor Physics from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, and a Master of Science in Physics from Lucknow University.
