Rich Friedman

Lead Hardware Architect at Rajant Corporation

Rich Friedman has over 35 years of experience in the engineering industry. Rich started their career at ITT Industries in 1982, where they worked as a Senior Engineer and played a key role in the modernization of the ITT SINCGARS radio product line. In 1995, they joined Sicom Inc as a Project Manager, overseeing the transition from defense-oriented R&D to commercial design and manufacturing.

In 2001, Friedman moved to Intersil as a Senior Engineering Manager, responsible for compliance testing and validation of reference designs for broadband wireless products. Rich then joined General Dynamics in 2004 as a Technical Engineering Manager and Project Leader, managing systems, software, design, and test employees and overseeing advanced technology programs for the US military and federal agencies.

From 2009 to 2013, Friedman worked at Exelis (formerly ITT) as an Engineering Manager and Staff Scientist, providing hardware management and technical leadership for Information Assurance Products. Rich then joined Harris Corporation in 2013 as a Director of Engineering, where they oversaw the recon and maritime electronic warfare division, managing engineering professionals and providing strategic planning and organizational development.

Most recently, in 2017, Friedman joined Rajant Corporation as the Lead Hardware Architect, where they are currently employed.

Rich Friedman received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from Purdue University. Rich attended Purdue University from 1985 to 1995.
