Gavin Stead

Gavin Stead, MBA, serves as the Head of Cards Platform and Senior Vice President at RAKBANK, where responsibilities include leading the transformation of the bank's digital and product platform for cards, and establishing high-performing engineering and support practices. Previously, Gavin was a Technology Partner at RAKBANK, providing strategic technology solutions to C-suite executives and overseeing significant core banking upgrades. Earlier roles include Head of Infrastructure Projects at TSB Bank, where infrastructure change and cloud adoption were key focuses, and Executive Director at Rullion, where a consulting division for technology projects was established. Additional experience includes senior positions at Barclays, overseeing major transformation programs, as well as earlier project management roles across various organizations. Gavin holds an MBA from the University of Strathclyde and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University.
