Thomas Kung

Thomas Kung is a seasoned professional in information security and risk management, currently serving as Chief Information Security Officer and Head of Compliance and Risk at Rakkar Digital since November 2022. With extensive experience at Crypto.com from June 2018 to August 2022 in various leadership roles, including Director of Information Security and Privacy, Thomas also worked as a Senior Consultant at Protiviti, where a Technical Security Assessment Practice was established. As a Freelance Trainer at The Knowledge Academy since December 2018, training focuses on Certified Data Protection Officer (CDPO) and Certified Cyber Security Professional (CCSP). Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws from The Manchester Metropolitan University and Master's and Bachelor's degrees in E-Commerce and Computing from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, respectively.
