Pooja Garg

Pooja Garg (Singh) is an accomplished journalist currently serving as a Journalist at The Hindu since October 2024 and as a Reporting Mentorship Fellow at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY. With extensive experience in community storytelling and domestic violence impact journalism through fellowships at USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism, Pooja is also a member of the Cobb County Domestic Violence Taskforce and South Asian SOAR. Pooja holds the position of Deputy Editor at Khabar Magazine and has been the Founder, Publisher, and Chief Editor of The Woman Inc. since 2015. Additionally, Pooja is the Communications and Community Engagement Liaison at Raksha, Inc., and the Founder of Storytreestudio. Pooja advocates for women's issues with the United Nations Association of Georgia and has a strong educational background that includes an Executive MBA in Marketing and Marketing Communication from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and has studied Digital Storytelling and Content Strategy at the University of Washington.
