Amit Patel

Amit Patel has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Amit is currently the CEO and President of Rakuten International since July 2019. Prior to that, they served as the CEO of Rakuten Rewards starting from 2017.

Before joining Rakuten, Amit held multiple roles at Ebates from 2010 to 2017. Amit was a General Manager from February 2014 onwards and Vice President of Product Management from May 2010 to February 2014.

Earlier in their career, Amit worked at Acxiom Digital as a Senior Director of Solutions Management from 2008 to 2010. Amit also served as a Group Director from 2005 to 2008. Prior to Acxiom Digital, they were associated with Digital Impact, where they held various positions including Account Director from 2004 to 2005, Senior Account Manager from 2001 to 2004, and Account Manager from 2000 to 2001.

Amit Patel studied at Loughborough University from 1996 to 2000, earning a BSc in Computing and Management.
