Ramya Gowda

Ramya Gowda is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data science and software engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Rakuten Americas since December 2018, Ramya specializes in product recommendation systems, data retrieval, and project deployment. Previously, Ramya worked as a Data Scientist focusing on lookalike modeling, time series analysis, and uplift modeling. Prior to joining Rakuten Americas, Ramya had roles at Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer, and at Mindtree Ltd. as a Programmer Analyst. Ramya's academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in International Business Strategy from Hitotsubashi ICS and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
