Scott Wu

Scott Wu serves as the General Manager of Conversational AI and Director of AI Safety Engineering at Rakuten since May 2023, focusing on contact center solutions, Generative AI initiatives, and AI Assistant capabilities, while actively hiring leaders and AI engineers in Tokyo and Singapore. Previously, Scott held the position of Engineering Manager at Google, contributing to Google Cloud Platform, and worked as a consultant specializing in cybersecurity and data analytics. Scott co-founded NewSky Security Inc, where responsibilities included SecOps automation and threat intelligence, and has held engineering roles at McAfee, Microsoft, Symantec, and WholeSecurity, with a career beginning at Halliburton. Scott earned an EMBA from Texas McCombs School of Business and holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston.
