Mahedi Hasan Omi

Mahedi Hasan Omi is an experienced investment professional currently serving as an Investment Manager at SBK Tech Ventures since March 2022, where the focus is on investing in early-stage startups within various sectors in Bangladesh. In addition, Omi holds the position of Venture Partner at rali_cap, a global venture collective, and has been a Catalyst Fellow at On Deck since May 2021. Previously, Omi worked at IDLC Asset Management Limited as an Assistant Manager in Private Equity & Venture Capital, contributing to the launch of the IDLC Venture Capital Fund, followed by roles as an Investment Associate at IDLC Venture Capital Fund I and as an Investment Analyst at Adventure Capital. Omi holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance and Banking from Bangladesh University of Professionals.
