Huong (Hallie) Dao

Huong (Hallie) Dao has a wealth of experience in accounting, finance, and audit. Huong (Hallie) began their career in 2014 as a Resident Assistant, Laker Leader, Admissions Ambassador, and Library Administrator's Assistant at Mercyhurst University. In 2015, they interned at KPMG as an Audit Intern. In 2016, they interned at Allegheny Health Network as a Finance Intern at Saint Vincent Hospital, at Saigon Securities Inc. as a Finance Accounting Intern, and at VietChallenge as the Director of Mentorship Program. Huong (Hallie) also attended the Forte College Fast Track to Finance Conference in Boston, MA, where they worked with 5 other undergraduate students to build an investment portfolio and analyzed Tesla Inc. with 3 other undergraduate students. In 2017, they interned at Time Warner Inc. as an Internal Audit Intern. In 2018, they worked at Rally as an Accounting Manager and Associate - Accounting & Finance. In this role, they built a financial reporting system with the CFO, managed the accounting team, led bi-annual public audits, and prepared and delivered sales, financial, inventory, and cash burn analysis. Huong (Hallie) also interned at EY as an Assurance Intern, where they compiled and analyzed cash workbooks, performed cash balance testing, interacted with clients, collected and analyzed transactions, and prepared reports for year-end audits.

Huong (Hallie) Dao's education history includes a Master of Science in Finance from the Zicklin School of Business from 2019 to 2020, a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance from Mercyhurst University from 2014 to 2018, and a High School degree from Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, they hold a Certification of High School Graduation from the Hanoi Department of Education and Training obtained in August 2014, a Certification of Volunteering from the Hoa Binh Social Protection Centre obtained in August 2012, and a Certification of Volunteering from the Morning Star Center - Center for Early Detection, Early Intervention, Care and Parental Counseling for Children with Intellectual Disabilities obtained in June 2012.
