Steve Bourne has extensive experience in various technology companies, holding roles such as CTO at Rally Ventures, ICON VENTURES, LLC, and El Dorado Ventures. Steve also served as President of the Association for Computing Machinery and held high-level positions at Cisco, Sun Microsystems, Digital Equipment Corporation, Silicon Graphics, Bell Laboratories, and the Computer Laboratory at Cambridge University. Throughout their career, Steve has been involved in the development and management of software engineering, network management products, and compiler technologies.
Steve Bourne completed their B. Sc. (Special) in Mathematics at King's College London from 1962 to 1965. Following this, they pursued a Diploma in Computing at the University of Cambridge from 1966 to 1967. Subsequently, they went on to earn a Ph. D. in Mathematics and Computing from the University of Cambridge from 1967 to 1970.
