Laura Ekas

Laura Ekas, Ph.D. has a long and varied work experience. Laura began their career in 2007 as an Equity Research Associate- Biotechnology for Collins Stewart. Laura then moved to Canaccord Genuity Inc. in the same year, where they held the position of VP, Senior Equity Research Analyst, Biotechnology. In 2012, they joined Insight Strategy Advisors as a Consultant. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in various roles, including Global Pricing and Reimbursement, Global Government Affairs, Senior Director, Corporate Operations, and Director / Associate Director Investor Relations. Finally, in 2018, they joined Rallybio as Head of Corporate & Commercial Strategy and Head of Strategy & New Product Planning.

Laura Ekas, Ph.D. received their Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Signal Transduction from New York Medicine Jobs in 2007. Prior to that, they earned their B.A. in Neuroscience from The Johns Hopkins University in 2000.
