General (Ret) George Casey retired in April 2011 after most recently serving for four years as the 36th Army Chief of Staff, the most senior ranking member of the US Army. During his 41 years on active duty, his other notable assignments included: Commanding General of Multi-National Force – Iraq (the commander of all military forces in Iraq), 30th Vice Chief of Staff of the Army, Director of Strategic Plans and Policy (J-5) on the Joint Staff, Director of the Joint Staff, and Commanding General of 1st Armored Division. General Casey graduated from Georgetown University and received his Masters from University of Denver.
