Melissa Stolley has extensive work experience in the education field. Melissa started their career in 2007 at Ralston Public Schools as a Resource Teacher and Behavior Specialist, where they worked until 2015. In this role, they focused on helping students with behavior issues and provided support to teachers. In 2015, they were promoted to the position of Dean of Students, where they expanded their responsibilities to include working with teachers and students in multiple capacities, such as addressing student behaviors, attendance, and implementing classroom management techniques. Since 2016, Melissa has been serving as the Director of Student Services at Ralston Public Schools, overseeing various aspects of student support and services.

Melissa Stolley's education history begins in 2000 when they enrolled at the University of Nebraska at Kearney. From 2000 to 2004, they pursued a Bachelor's of Arts in Education with a focus on Elementary Education and Teaching, as well as Special Education and Teaching. Following their undergraduate studies, Melissa continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Masters of Arts in Special Education with a specialization in Behavioral Disorders/Behavioral Psychology in 2012.

In 2016, Melissa decided to further enhance their skills and knowledge in educational leadership and administration. Melissa enrolled at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and pursued a K-12 Educational Leadership Endorsement. Building upon this, they expanded their expertise in the field by pursuing a degree in Special Education Supervision and Administration, specializing in Educational Leadership and Administration, General at the same university starting in 2017.

Melissa's pursuit of academic growth is ongoing, as they are currently enrolled at Doane University. Melissa is expected to graduate in 2024 with a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree, although the specific field of study for this degree has not been provided.
