Richard MacDonald

President & CEO at Ram Laboratories

Richard MacDonald began their career in 1988 as a Software Engineer at NCR Corporation. Richard then took on a role as a Research Assistant at the University of Virginia. In 1996, they moved to TRW, Avionics Systems Division, where they worked as a Systems Engineer. In 1997, they joined Validity Corporation (L3 Harris Technologies Inc) as a Sr. Engineer. From 2004 to 2009, they were a Board of Directors Member at The Society of Modeling & Simulation International. Additionally, in 2009, they were appointed to serve on the Executive Committee (EXCOM) of the Simulation Interoperability Standards Organization (SISO). Since 1997, they have been the President & CEO of RAM Laboratories, Inc.

Richard MacDonald obtained their B.S.E in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan between 1984 and 1987. Richard then continued their studies at the University of Virginia, receiving an M.S.E.E in Electrical Engineering in 1990 and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 1995.
