Steven Carmody

Steven Carmody is a skilled machinist with extensive experience in the aviation, space, and defense sectors. Currently serving as a machinist at RAM Aviation, Space & Defense since May 2023, Steven previously held prominent roles at Sigma Design from May 2015 to January 2023, including Manager of Fabrication Estimating and Outsourcing and Machine Shop Manager/Outsourcing Lead. At Sigma Design, responsibilities involved managing an internal machine shop across two shifts and overseeing the procurement of various fabricated components. Prior to this, Steven worked at Concept Reality from February 2000 to May 2015 as Shop Manager CNC/Machinist/Programmer, where duties included scheduling personnel, job quoting, customer relations, material ordering, and CNC programming and setup.
