Jeff Kurtz

Jeff Kurtz has a diverse work experience in the real estate and development industry. Jeff currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Development at Ram Realty Advisors since August 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Vice President of Development at the same company from January 2022 to August 2023, and as the Director of Development from March 2021 to January 2022.

Before joining Ram Realty Advisors, Jeff worked at Method Co. as the Director of Development from November 2017 to September 2020. Jeff led all development activity at the company, obtaining approvals, structuring financing, and securing historic tax credits for a boutique hotel project in Charleston, SC.

From 2013 to 2017, Jeff worked at Dranoff Properties in two different roles. Jeff started as a Development Associate, overseeing a $10 million capital improvements program. Later, they became a Development Manager, managing all aspects of assigned development and redevelopment projects totaling over $250 million in value.

Earlier in their career, Jeff worked as an Urban Planner at Kitchen & Associates, where they conducted site capacity studies and developed open space layouts for master planned communities. Jeff also utilized GIS mapping to assist community organizations in strategic real estate investments.

Before that, Jeff held a role as a Summer Development Associate at Arcadia Land Company, where they developed and maintained a GIS-based database for residential home sales and produced market analysis reports.

Jeff's work experience began as a Landscape Architect at Verdaus Landscape Architects, where they were involved in the design and delivery of projects ranging from master planned communities to mixed-use towers.

Finally, Jeff started their career as a Research and Design Assistant at Downtown Design Studio, North Carolina State University.

Overall, Jeff Kurtz has had an extensive career in real estate and development, with experience in various roles and responsibilities.

Jeff Kurtz completed a Master of City Planning degree in Public/Private Real Estate Development from the University of Pennsylvania from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a BLA degree in Landscape Architecture from North Carolina State University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008.
