Jason Fannin Esq.

Jason Fannin, Esq. has extensive experience in the coal industry and the legal field. Jason is currently serving as the SVP and Chief Marketing Officer at Ramaco Resources, Inc. Prior to this, they held positions at Contura Energy as the Senior Vice President - Metallurgical Sales and Vice President - Metallurgical Sales & Services. Jason also served as the Managing Member at Highlands Energy Advisors, LLC. Jason's earlier roles include Vice President of Metallurgical Sales and Assistant Vice President Metallurgical Sales at Alpha Coal Sales Co., LLC, Director of Sales Marketing & Research, and Manager of Optimization & Sales Administration. Before joining Alpha Coal Sales, they worked as the Manager, Southern Appalachian Division at Sgs Mineral Services and as the Director of Quality Assurance at AMCI Group. Their work responsibilities have included marketing, sales, negotiation, quality assurance, and management.

Jason Fannin, Esq. pursued their education in the field of law and chemical engineering/chemistry. From 2013 to 2016, they attended the Appalachian School of Law, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree with Summa Cum Laude honors. During their time there, their field of study focused on Natural Resources Law. Prior to that, from 1993 to 1996, they studied at the West Virginia University Institute of Technology, earning Dual Bachelors of Science degrees. Their field of study during this time included Chemical Engineering and Chemistry.
