Katherine Reed

Katherine Reed is an experienced professional in communications and event management with a strong background in journalism and marketing. As an English Teaching Intern at the International University Exchange Center and a Marketing Intern at Ramaker | Architecture + Engineering, Katherine developed valuable skills in teaching and marketing strategies. At the UW-Madison Center for Leadership & Involvement, Katherine successfully organized student organization fairs, enhancing engagement among over 15,000 students. In the role of Events Director at Curb Magazine, Katherine demonstrated strong leadership by fundraising and managing events. As President of the Wisconsin Homecoming Committee, Katherine oversaw the planning and execution of multiple homecoming events while leading a large team. Katherine's previous experience also includes a Land Conservation Communications Internship at Dakota County and multiple service roles at Leo’s Grill and Malt Shop. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an Associate of Arts from Century College.
