Josphat Wachira

Josphat Wachira is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in geographic information systems (GIS) and environmental management. Currently serving as a Senior GIS Technician at Ramani since November 2014, Josphat has demonstrated expertise in data analysis, as well as team leadership as a Production Team Leader. Previous roles include Mapping Technician, where responsibilities included map layer checking and DTM editing, and a GIS Intern at the National Environment Management Authority, focusing on environmental action plans and field research. Josphat's career also includes experience in operational analysis as a Store Supervisor at Blue Sky Wines and Spirit, and administrative support for environmental projects during an industrial attachment at Community Shelters Uganda. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Management from Makerere University, as well as foundational education at Bugema Adventist Secondary School and Chinga Boys High School.
