Evan Kutzin

Evan Kutzin, MAS, CEM, CFEI, currently serves as the Senior Fire Marshal at Ramapo College of New Jersey, overseeing a team of eight Fire Safety Specialists and more than 20 student EMTs since April 2019. Kutzin has extensive experience in fire safety and emergency services, serving as Fire Marshal for both the Old Tappan Bureau of Fire Prevention and the Old Tappan Fire Department since 2001, with various leadership roles including Chief of Department and Deputy Chief. Additionally, Kutzin holds the position of Deputy OEM Coordinator for the Borough of Woodcliff Lake and has worked with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services since 2010 as a Supply Management Officer. Kutzin is also an Investigator on the Animal Cruelty Task Force for the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office. Academic credentials include a Master of Administrative Science in Global Security & Terrorism Studies from Fairleigh Dickinson University, an Executive Education in Business Administration from Seton Hall University, and a Bachelor of Science in Criminology from The College of New Jersey.
