Michael Middleton

Michael Middleton serves as the Provost and Professor at Ramapo College of New Jersey since April 2023, overseeing the Teaching and Learning Core and providing strategic vision and leadership. Prior to this role, Michael was the Dean and Professor at the School of Education, Hunter College from August 2016 to April 2023, managing a large academic community and a significant budget. Additionally, Michael held the position of Dean and Professor at UMass Boston from 2014 to July 2016, and previously served as Department Chair and Associate Professor at the University of New Hampshire from 2001 to 2014. Michael holds a BA in Psychology from Harvard College, an M.Ed. from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and a PhD in Education and Psychology from the University of Michigan.
