Suzanne Badawi has a diverse work experience in various roles within the field of social work and mental health. Suzanne most recently worked as the Director of Field Education for the Social Work Program at Ramapo College of New Jersey, where they managed and coordinated field placements and taught seminars. Before that, they worked as an Associate Psychotherapist in private practice and as a Consultant/Marketing Specialist for New Lifestyle Medical. Suzanne also worked as an Assessment Clinician for High Focus Centers, where they assessed and diagnosed patients with substance abuse and mental health issues. Prior to that, they were an Assessment Specialist at the Center for Neurofeedback and Integrative Health, where they evaluated and treated patients with various mental health challenges. Suzanne also has experience in crisis intervention as a Crisis Intervention Screener at The Valley Hospital and as a Psychiatric Social Worker at Bergen Regional Medical Center. Additionally, they worked as a New Client Services representative at The Center for Medical Weight Loss, where they educated and enrolled physicians in an addiction theory-based medical weight loss program.
Suzanne Badawi holds a master's degree in Clinical Social Work from New York University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they earned a bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education with a concentration in Sociology from SUNY Geneseo, from 1995 to 1999. Additionally, Suzanne obtained their LCSW certification from the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, Division of Consumer Affairs, Board of Social Work Examiners in August 2016.
