Kierstin Hettler

Kierstin Hettler serves as the Managing Director of Youth and Recreation at YM & YWHA of Washington Heights and Inwood since October 2021 and has extensive experience in youth programming and education. Currently, Kierstin is involved with Ramapo for Children as a Trainer, Coach, Lead Course Instructor, and Associate Director overseeing programs with a portfolio of approximately $2.5 million. Previous roles include Director and Associate Director of Community Programs at Asphalt Green, where significant contributions to community engagement were made, and Director of Education at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area, where curricula were developed and best practices were implemented. Kierstin holds a Master of Arts in Youth Development from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and Theatre from Hampshire College.
