Abby Kurtz

Abby Kurtz is an experienced professional in health and safety management with a focus on the global environment and health consulting sector at Ramboll since January 2005. Currently serving as Assistant Director, Global Health & Safety, Environment & Health, Abby oversees the health and safety management system for over 5,000 employees, emphasizing incident management, training programs, and stakeholder engagement. Previous roles include Global Health & Safety Manager, where responsibilities encompassed managing incident reporting for over 17,000 employees, and Health & Safety Coordinator, ensuring safety measures at the corporate headquarters. Abby's early career included litigation support as a Managing Consultant and a role as a Science & Technology Graduate Policy Fellow at The National Academies. Abby holds two Master of Science degrees in Geology (Hydrogeology) and Water Resources Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Arts in Geology from Hamilton College. Certifications include Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Professional Geologist (PG).
