Aitor Arrospide Sanz

Aitor Arrospide Sanz is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Primary Steel Team Lead, Design Manager, and Senior Chief Consultant at Ramboll since September 2023. Prior to this role, Aitor worked at Ørsted from April 2020 to September 2023, where responsibilities included Lead Structural Specialist and Senior Structural Engineer, focusing on primary steel structures and jacket design. Aitor has a strong background in offshore wind foundations, having held positions at COWI from August 2016 to April 2020 as a Structural Specialist and Structural Engineer, specializing in the design of monopile and jacket foundations. Aitor's earlier experience includes a student assistant role at the Technical University of Denmark and an internship at the Department of Urban Services and Infrastructures of Donostia - San Sebastian City Council. Aitor began the career as a Quality Control Inspector at XUBI S.L. Aitor holds a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from DTU and two Bachelor’s degrees in Civil Engineering from Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria and Universidad del País Vasco.
