Frederik Winther

Frederik Winther is a highly experienced professional in thermal building simulations and indoor environmental assessments, currently serving as Senior Specialist Manager at Ramboll since December 2012, after progressing through various roles including Chief Specialist and Engineer. At Ramboll, responsibilities include expert oversight of thermal building simulations using IES-VE. Prior experience includes a PhD fellowship at Aalborg University focused on intelligent glazed facades, and earlier engineering roles involving HVAC and energy calculations for substantial building projects. Frederik holds a PhD in zero energy buildings and intelligent facades as well as a Master’s degree in Indoor Environmental Engineering from Aalborg University, complemented by an educational background that includes the European baccalaureate.
