Gilbert Galjaard (B.Sc., Process Technology and Chemical Engineering) is a seasoned expert in drinking water technology with over 30 years of experience. Initially working on plant design and troubleshooting nanofiltration and reverse osmosis systems in the 1990s, they later specialized in micro- and ultrafiltration techniques, developing innovative products such as the Quick-Scan and CeraMac processes. Gilbert has held significant roles, including Chief Process Engineer at Nanostone Water and Global Practice Leader at Ramboll, where they focus on research and consultancy in the drinking water industry.
