Ian Gottschalk, PhD, is a hydro-geophysicist and Senior Geophysicist at Ramboll. With a PhD in Geophysics from Stanford University, Ian led research that integrated geophysical data with hydrogeologic insights. Previously a geophysicist at AECOM, they managed geophysics-driven groundwater projects while also contributing to research as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the University of Tübingen. Ian is dedicated to advancing sustainable groundwater management through innovative approaches, including the use of AI and machine learning.
