Charles Huang has a strong background in engineering, particularly in the field of mixed-signal circuit design. Charles started their career in 1990 as a Design Engineer at ULSI Inc. From there, they worked at SILICON GRAPHICS INC. as a Member of Technical Staff for two years. Charles then joined Rambus Inc in 1994 as a Principal Engineer, where they served as the technical lead for CMOS mixed-signal circuit design and was responsible for designing circuits for gaming consoles such as Nintendo 64 and PlayStation2. In 2002, they moved to T-RAM Inc as a Principal Engineer before returning to Rambus Inc in 2003 as a Senior Principal Engineer. Charles held this position until 2012 when they joined Samsung Display USA R&D Center as a Senior Staff Engineer. Finally, in 2015, they returned to Rambus as a Senior Principal Engineer.
Charles Huang received a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas from 1988 to 1989. Charles also earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Radio Engineering from Fuzhou University in China.
