Tim Hewitt

Tim Hewitt is a seasoned mining executive currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Ramelius Resources Limited since February 2025. Prior to this role, Tim held various senior positions at Gold Fields, including Vice President of Mining and Technical, as well as General Manager for the St Ives Gold Mine. Tim's extensive experience includes significant roles at Newmont Mining Corporation as Mine Manager, overseeing safe production at the Tanami UG DBS operation, and as Manager of Mining at St. Barbara Ltd, responsible for the Gwalia Deeps Mine. Tim's career also features leadership positions at Castlemaine Goldfields Limited, LGL Gold, Orica Mining Services, and Pasminco Mining. Tim holds a Bachelor of Mining Engineering (Hons) from Federation University Australia and an MBA from Deakin University, supplemented by training at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
