Steve Carter

Steve Carter is the CEO and Co-founder of Nucleus Security since June 2019, where the organization specializes in vulnerability and risk management solutions for security teams across various sectors. Additionally, Steve serves as a Board Member and Advisor at Rampant Technologies, which offers security and engineering services to federal clients. Formerly, Steve co-founded LTC Engineering, contributing as a Senior Security Software Engineer from February 2006 to April 2015, and held a role as a Senior Software Engineer at Raytheon from January 2003 to February 2006, both focusing on security engineering and software development for Department of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. Steve's early career included a position as a UNIX System Administrator at the Center for Ocean & Atmospheric Prediction Studies from January 2000 to January 2003. Steve holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, both from Florida State University.
