Taryn Pieterse is an experienced professional in investment and mentorship, currently serving as a Partner at Rampersand since July 2020. Previously, Taryn acted as a Mentor at Startmate from July 2021 to December 2022 and worked as an Investment Associate/Manager at Light Warrior Group from July 2017 to April 2020, focusing on assessing and investing in early to mid-growth stage ventures. Taryn's background includes significant experience in investment banking with Goldman Sachs from February 2013 to June 2017, specializing in Mergers & Acquisitions across various sectors in Australia, the UK, and Europe. Additionally, Taryn contributed as a PASS Leader and Coordinator for Quantitative Economics and Business Analysis at The University of Queensland from January 2009 to December 2012.
