Our story begins in 1964, when Australian entrepreneur Mr Paul Ramsay founded Ramsay Health Care. For many years, we operated dispensaries within the walls of Ramsay Private Hospitals but in 2007 the Ramsay Pharmacy Group was launched - providing a broader range of full-service, community based pharmacies.

From the very beginning, Paul Ramsay was motivated by the philosophy People Caring for People - principles which continue to drive our own people, and The Ramsay Pharmacy Group today.

The Ramsay Pharmacy Group remains an integral part of Ramsay Health Care - a now global organisation with 480 hospitals, day surgeries, treatment facilities, rehabilitation and psychiatric units across 11 countries. It is the largest provider of private health care in Australia.
