Sam Artanto

Sam Artanto has a diverse and extensive work experience in human resources roles. Sam most recently served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care starting from October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Human Resources at British School Jakarta for two years, where they provided strategic advice and leadership in HR risk areas and developed HR policies. Before that, they held the position of General Manager of Human Resources at PT. Nissan Motor Indonesia and PT. Nissan Motor Distributor Indonesia, where they managed HR strategies and implemented a right-sizing program. Sam also served as the Senior Human Resources Manager at the same company, overseeing several departments such as Compensation and Benefit, Talent Management, and Industrial Relations. Earlier in their career, Sam worked as the HR & GA Manager at PT. ITOCHU Indonesia and as the Human Resources Assistant Manager at Sharp Electronics Indonesia, PT. Sam started their career as the HRGA Senior Supervisor at PT JAGAD KARIMBANUSA, where they handled various HR and general affairs responsibilities.

Sam Artanto completed a degree in Law from the University of Brawijaya, attending from 1991 to 1996. Later, from 2009 to 2011, they pursued a Master's degree in Management at Universitas Mercu Buana. In terms of additional certifications, Sam obtained the following: Certified Hypnotherapist (CHt) from The Indonesian Board of Hypnotherapy in April 2013, The Program on Industrial Relations & Human Resources Management for Executives (ERHE) from AOTS Japan in November 2019, and Human Resources Management from Badan Nasional Sertifikasi Profesi in February 2022. Lastly, Sam has also obtained a certification in Situational Leadership II from The Ken Blanchard Companies, but the specific date of completion is unknown.
