Michelle Ranavat

Michelle Ranavat has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Michelle founded and serves as the CEO of RANAVAT, a global skincare line inspired by Indian beauty rituals, since 2017. The line has gained recognition and partnerships with top retailers such as Neiman Marcus, Bluemercury, and Credo. Michelle herself has been featured in various publications and was named one of the "Top 50 Influential Global Indians" by VOGUE.

Before starting their own company, Michelle held the position of Vice President and Head of Global Sales at Chem-Impex International, Inc. from 2009 to 2017. Prior to that, they worked as an Associate in the Investment Banking Division at Evolution Markets from 2008 to 2009. Michelle also gained experience at Lehman Brothers, where they served as an Associate in the Structured Products & Project Finance Groups from 2004 to 2008.

Additionally, Michelle is currently a Board Member at the UW-Madison Dept. of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISyE) since 2022.

Michelle Ranavat earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Michelle then pursued further education at Tufts University from 2003 to 2004, where they obtained a Masters of Science degree in Engineering Management.
