Bijan Mazarji

Bijan Mazarji is an experienced investigator currently serving at the Orange County Sheriff's Department since October 2016, with a progression of roles from Deputy Sheriff Trainee to Investigator. Mazarji's responsibilities have included working in the Professional Standards Division as a background investigator, serving as a field training officer, and acting as a behavioral health liaison. Mazarji is a licensed UAV pilot and has contributed to multiple specialized teams, including the Critical Incident Response Team and the Specialized Enforcement Team. Additionally, Mazarji teaches criminal justice courses at Santa Ana College and conducts drug abuse recognition training. Prior military service includes a leadership role as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army Reserve, and Mazarji has held various positions in banking and veterans claims. The educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and a Master of Public Administration from California State University, Long Beach.
