Helen Serrano

Helen Serrano is an experienced ESL Instructor with a significant background in teaching English to adults from diverse cultural backgrounds at both Rancho Santiago Community College District and North Orange County Community College District since 2003. Serrano specializes in face-to-face and online instruction, curricular design, and course development across multiple ESL levels, including Intermediate High, Pronunciation & Conversation, and Reading & Writing. Additionally, Serrano has held roles such as Master Teacher and pioneer of the EL CIVICS Curriculum Design Committee, contributing to assessment and evaluation processes, program development, and coordination of special events. Currently, Serrano is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Community College Leadership at California State University, Fullerton.
