Rodney Elliott, MPA, CFE, CFI has extensive experience in law enforcement and education. As a Background Investigator and Firearms Instructor at the Orange County Sheriff's Department since April 2021, Rodney also serves as an Adjunct Instructor at Rancho Santiago Community College District. Contributions to sports include officiating for both the Orange County Football Officials Association and the Orange County Baseball Officials Association. Prior roles include Senior Investigator in Corporate Security at Verizon and Detective in the Financial Crimes Detail at the Anaheim Police Department. Rodney's law enforcement career began as a Deputy Sheriff with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, where various positions included gang enforcement and classification unit investigations. Rodney is a retired Chief Warrant Officer 2 from the United States Marine Corps after a 24-year service tenure. Educational achievements include a Master of Public Administration and two Bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice and Administration of Justice. Rodney holds certifications as a Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Fraud Investigator.
