Ron Barasch

Ron Barasch is an experienced ESL instructor at Rancho Santiago Community College District since January 2003, specializing in American English pronunciation and advanced grammar across all levels. Prior to this, Ron worked as a representative for Oxford University Press from 2001 to 2008, focusing on book sales, and served as a senior editor for foreign languages at Macmillan Publishers from 1990 to 1993, where responsibilities included acquisitions and editing of foreign language textbooks. Ron holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Spanish Linguistics and a Ph.D. in Hispanic Languages and Literatures, both obtained from UCLA.
