Damian Stega, MD, serves as the Director of Clinical Research and Clinical Research Coordinator at Rand Eye Institute since December 2022. Since July 2016, Damian has held the position of Chief Medical Officer at Utepreva, where responsibilities include leading the development of a unique biopsy device and conducting comprehensive literature reviews. Additionally, since August 2015, Damian has worked as the Scientific and Development Officer at TechMed Ventures LLC. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Scientist at Quality Research and Invention from February 2012 to December 2022, where Damian was the Principal Investigator for a study utilizing the BIOZEK COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test. An internship at Voivodeship Hospital from September 2017 to September 2018 involved patient admission and diagnostic activities. Education culminated in a Doctor of Medicine degree from Uniwersytet Warmińsko-Mazurski w Olsztynie, completed in 2017.
