Humphrey Mwangi

Humphrey Mwangi is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in credit management and underwriting. Currently serving as the Regional Credit Head for Rest of Africa at Rand Merchant Bank since January 2014, Humphrey has previously held key positions such as Senior Underwriter and Acting Chief Underwriting Officer at the African Trade Insurance Agency from August 2006 to December 2013, and Credit Analyst leading to Credit Evaluation Manager at Standard Bank Group from July 2000 to July 2006. Humphrey began a career in finance as an intern in the Finance Department at the United Nations Office at Nairobi in late 1999. Academic credentials include an Advanced Management & Leadership Programme from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford (2021-2022), an MBA in Finance & International Management from Questrom School of Business, Boston University (2008-2009), and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Kenyatta University (1996-1999).
