Kgotso Buys is a seasoned technology executive with substantial experience in financial services and e-commerce. Currently serving as Chief Information Officer and Platform Lead at Rand Merchant Bank since December 2022, Kgotso has previously held significant roles including Engineering Director for Payments and Business Systems at takealot.com and Software Team Lead at Rand Merchant Bank. Additional experience includes software development positions at Barloworld Supply Chain Software and T-Systems. Kgotso holds an MBA and a Post Graduate Diploma from Wits Business School, as well as a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from the Central University of Technology, Free State.
