Michael Baty

Michael Baty is an experienced professional with a strong background in credit risk management and digital transformation, currently serving as the Technical and Credit SME Product Owner at RMB - Rand Merchant Bank since July 2007. In this role, Michael has successfully led the automation and enhancement of credit processes, developed new credit risk models, and pioneered the use of advanced analytics. Prior to this, Michael held positions as Solution Architect and Business Architect, contributing significantly to the design of business and technical architectures within the enablement department. Michael's earlier experience includes managing a division at Ke Concepts and serving as a part-time lecturer in Physical Education at the University of the Witwatersrand.
